OVERVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Ticteq.com and related ticketing, streaming, scanning, organizer, payment, and support services operated by Xopa Limited. By accessing the platform, creating an account, publishing an event, purchasing a ticket, or using any Ticteq service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the affected service.
ABOUT TICTEQ
Ticteq provides technology that helps organizers publish events and digital experiences, sell access, receive transaction information, manage attendees, and validate tickets. Ticteq is the platform provider. Unless an event page expressly states otherwise, the event organizer is responsible for the event itself, including its description, venue, schedule, performers, capacity, entry rules, accessibility, and delivery.
ACCOUNTS AND ACCURATE INFORMATION
You must provide accurate and current information when purchasing, registering, contacting support, or creating organizer content. You are responsible for protecting your account, email, phone, one-time codes, payment approvals, and devices. Organizer owners are responsible for users invited into their workspace and for assigning suitable permissions. Notify Ticteq promptly if you believe an account or ticket has been compromised.
EVENT LISTINGS AND ORGANIZER RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizers must have authority to publish every event, image, name, trademark, performance, stream, venue, and offer submitted to Ticteq. Listings must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading. Organizers are responsible for obtaining required permits, licenses, consents, insurance, venue approvals, music or broadcast rights, and participant releases. Ticteq may review, restrict, correct, suspend, or remove listings that create legal, security, payment, reputational, or customer-protection risk.
TICKET PURCHASES AND DELIVERY
Before paying, buyers must confirm the event, date, venue, ticket type, price, quantity, contact details, and payment method. A ticket is valid only after payment has been successfully confirmed. Ticket links, codes, receipts, or access instructions may be delivered by SMS, email, web page, or another channel shown during checkout. Buyers are responsible for supplying reachable and accurate contact details and for keeping ticket information secure.
PAYMENTS, FEES AND SETTLEMENT
Prices, currencies, service charges, and available payment methods are displayed before confirmation where applicable. Payment processing may depend on mobile money operators, banks, card networks, or other providers. Pending, failed, reversed, cancelled, fraudulent, or unverifiable payments do not create valid admission or streaming rights. Provider charges, foreign-exchange costs, bank charges, and telecom fees may apply separately. Organizer settlement and withdrawal eligibility may be subject to verification, transaction review, chargebacks, event status, provider timelines, and applicable law.
REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Ticket purchases are generally final once successfully processed, except where a refund or correction is required by law, an applicable event policy, payment-provider rules, duplicate-charge review, event cancellation, or a verified platform error. The organizer is responsible for event cancellation, postponement, venue changes, lineup changes, and event-specific refund decisions. Where Ticteq facilitates a refund, processing time may depend on the original payment provider and the availability of organizer funds.
ENTRY, SCANNING AND DIGITAL ACCESS
Each ticket or access code may be scanned, validated, or marked as used according to the event rules. A copied, altered, resold, already-used, cancelled, refunded, or suspicious ticket may be rejected. Buyers must follow lawful venue, age, safety, conduct, identification, and access requirements communicated by the organizer. Streaming access may depend on payment status, supported devices, internet quality, viewing windows, and rights restrictions.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use Ticteq to commit fraud, impersonate another person, publish unlawful or rights-infringing content, interfere with payments, manipulate sales or validation records, scrape protected data, distribute malware, probe or attack systems, bypass access controls, overload the service, reuse tickets without authorization, or obtain paid benefits without valid payment. Automated access is prohibited unless Ticteq has expressly authorized it in writing.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Ticteq and Xopa Limited retain rights in the platform, software, workflows, databases, text, designs, reports, service names, and branding. Users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to use the platform for its intended purpose. Organizers retain responsibility for content they submit and grant Ticteq permission to host, process, resize, display, transmit, and promote that content as needed to provide the service.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Ticteq may use or link to payment processors, telecom networks, banks, maps, messaging providers, analytics tools, streaming providers, social platforms, organizer websites, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Ticteq does not control their availability, security, processing times, charges, content, or decisions and is not responsible for failures outside its reasonable control.
AVAILABILITY AND LIABILITY
Ticteq is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Maintenance, provider outages, connectivity, device settings, security events, and circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect availability. Ticteq does not guarantee event attendance, event quality, organizer performance, sales volume, uninterrupted streaming, or commercial results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xopa Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.
SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Ticteq may limit, suspend, or terminate access; hold or review affected transactions; cancel invalid tickets; or remove content where reasonably necessary to address fraud, chargebacks, security threats, rights complaints, unlawful activity, organizer disputes, policy breaches, or legal and payment-provider requirements. Where practical, affected users may contact support to request clarification or review.
CHANGES, GOVERNING LAW AND CONTACT
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, or provider changes. Updated Terms apply when posted or on a later date stated on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply. This Agreement and use of the website is an online service provided by Ticteq.com, a Xopa Limited Product (sometimes referred to herein as the "Company", "we" or "our") with a principal place of business in Uganda. The website consists of ticketing services, which may include facilitation of the purchase or sale of tickets to live events, access to other ticket resources, and related content provided by the Company and by third parties.
This Website is subject to the terms and restrictions contained herein and are for private personal use by consumers only ("Users"). If we determine that you are purchasing an irregularly large number(more than 3 tickets) of tickets to an event or multiple events, we will presume that you are purchasing such tickets for resale purposes and at our sole election, we will cancel your transaction(s) and restrict your access to this Website;
Download or copy any content displayed on this Website for purposes other than preserving information for your personal use;
Establish any deep link or other connection to any specific page or pages of this Website other than the home page, without Company's prior written permission;
Deploy or facilitate the use or deployment of any automatic or manual device, process or means to circumvent, avoid or defeat any of our security measures or systems, including but not limited to the "QR" system used as part of this Website's ticket purchasing process;
Access, reload or refresh this Website's transactional event or ticketing pages, or make any other request to this Website's transactional servers, more than once during any two second interval; or Request more than 500 pages of this Website in any twenty-four-hour period.
You expressly agree that you will use this Website only for lawful purposes. Any conduct by you that in our sole discretion restricts, inhibits, or interferes with any other consumer from using or enjoying this Website is expressly prohibited.
TRANSACTION AND PROCESSING FEES
There is no fee for accessing this Website and viewing our content and the content of third parties that we display.
If you decide to purchase tickets or other merchandise, you agree to pay, in addition to the price for the ticket or merchandise, other fees, and charges that we may impose, including but not limited to, convenience fees, processing fees, and other miscellaneous fees. The amount of each fee may vary, depending on the tickets or merchandise you purchase and the method you select to receive your tickets or merchandise.

DOWNLOADING OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Other than third party materials that Ticteq.com uses in accordance with applicable law and content posted by Users, Ticteq.com owns all Website software, design, text, images, photographs, illustrations, audio clips, video clips, artwork, graphic content, and other copyrightable elements, including the selection and arrangement thereof, trademarks, service marks and trade names (collectively, the "NDI Elements"). The NDI Elements are protected, without limitation, pursuant to Uganda and foreign copyright and trademark laws. You agree not to reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, display, perform, publish, distribute, disseminate, broadcast or circulate any NDI Elements to any third party (including, without limitation, the display and distribution of the NDI Elements via your own or a third party website) without Ticteq.com's express prior written consent.
